Duration: 8 months
Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate Range: $75 - $86.21/Hour
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead an agile team with performance management through SMART goals to create the Copyright Licensing Platform, a foundational component of a transformative landscape of royalties
  • With your team, build a system that integrates with existing applications & functions across Licensing, Copyright, and Legal Clearance for the business. The application will also communicate with other client applications and external publishers using DDEX messaging.
  • Run architecture sessions, lead code reviews, work with your team on testing features, writing automated tests and ensure bugs are fixed.
  • Manage the product development work to create a strong product, finding the highest value work and the most efficient sprint practices.
  • Nurture ideas and solutions to business challenges and opportunities; perform detailed analysis and scoping activities to develop the technical product details for new capabilities.
  • Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple lines of communication to achieve business objectives and project goals.
  • Help the business product owner define, manage, and accept user stories.
  • Write and own stories related to technical debt.
  • Have operational responsibility for the software you and your team builds and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business users, operations, and product owners on the future of the platform. “We build it, we run it”
 
Required Skills:
  • Working Knowledge of Postgre, JAVA, Agile Product Owner experience
  • A minimum 8 years’ experience in delivery of enterprise software solutions.
  • Detail-orientation and see success as a team accomplishment.
  • Prior involvement with most aspects of software delivery life cycle, including: gathering and developing detailed functional requirements; breaking down complex requirements into independent user stories; capturing detailed acceptance criteria; building a release plan with user stories in collaboration with the customer; managing the backlog; incorporating user feedback; and documenting system capabilities, business processes and handover documentation for support.
  • Experience in systems integration and migration delivery.
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of software development, including understanding the capabilities and limitations of programming languages, and a knowledge of testing (System, Unit, Integration, Interface).
  • An understanding of business process modeling.
  • Success with applying Agile/Scrum practices on multiple projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including but not limited to: listening; written, and verbal communication skills; exceptional client-facing/consulting skills; and managing stakeholders.
  • Music industry or other entertainment industry experience is a bonus.
