Job Description: 
* Ability to troubleshoot Hardware/Software/Firmware to identify failures and translate them into well-written defects. Ability to recover from failures and maintain a healthy test environment.
* Testing involves a combination of physical and virtual test environments, so expect physical activity (walking, bending, squatting for low-profile bots, lifting, pushing).
Tests may involve prepping test data virtually via SW tooling or physically via package sets, totes, carts, obstacles, etc.
* communicate regular status to the QA Lead/Manager and/or development team. Highlight risks or blockers in a timely fashion.
Ability to think on your feet to quickly diagnose a situation and determine the next steps. Excellent verbal and written communication is critical.
* Collect and analyze data and metrics during or after active testing (logs, dashboards, databases, other web tools) and document observations.

* Self-driven and motivated to learn and understand the complex systems being tested (environment configuration, test data creation, test execution, what we validate/where and why).
Able to deal with ambiguity and switch gears/priorities quickly when products or features are early in the maturity cycle.
* Basic computer skills including running scripts and basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands, SQL, and an understanding of basic programming concepts. Python knowledge would be a bonus.
 
Minimum of 5 years experience in the field. Strong QA background.
Communication and reporting experience is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Description
* The test technician is responsible for conducting various tests on robotic systems to ensure product quality, performance, and reliability.
This role is critical to developing the most advanced robotic fulfillment and sortation systems.
* Testing the functionality and performance of robotic fulfillment solutions (pods, drive units, station HW, SW and services, peripherals like scanners/caption buttons, test inventory, various containers, safety system, mobile maintenance applications, station, and environmental configuration and provisioning).
* Test manual station operations, interaction with our robotic drive units, and integration with software and other microservices.
Station SW/FW/Peripherals, etc.
