About the team and the role:
  • We are looking for a Creative Strategist to join the Core Product Excellence team and lead the development of storytelling and messaging that clearly articulates client’s product strategy and innovation priorities. This role will partner directly with leadership to develop narratives that fuel our executive communications, team culture, and internal product storytelling.
  • You’ll shape content for client’s most high-stakes moments—Board of Directors meetings, All-Hands, Product Launches, and Innovation Spotlights—and ensure that our product vision is consistently communicated with clarity, focus, and inspiration. Working side-by-side with a visual designer, you’ll transform complex ideas into impactful themes, frameworks, and language that moves teams and aligns leadership.
  • This is a strategic role that combines creative storytelling, stakeholder management, and product thinking—with a direct line of sight into how we elevate our vision and priorities across the business.
 
What you will accomplish:
  • Lead narrative development for client’s product strategy and vision, shaping high-level messaging frameworks for executive presentations and internal product communications.
  • Translate strategic input from senior leaders into compelling content and thematic storytelling—across decks, microsites, scripts, and events—pulling a continuous strategic thread throughout the year.
  • Develop and drive a repeatable communication process with standardized briefs, templates, and workflows that bring structure and clarity to executive storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Comms to align on core messaging and ensure internal consistency across product teams and leadership channels.
  • Help design and shape storytelling experiences around key moments like go/Vision, Invent Week, and Product Launch Press Kits.
  • Stay close to evolving product bets, roadmap themes, and business priorities to ensure ongoing alignment and relevance in storytelling.
 
What you will bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in creative strategy, UX writing, content design, or brand storytelling—ideally with experience supporting product and executive leadership.
  • Strong portfolio of work demonstrating ability to shape business strategy into creative, audience-centric messaging.
  • Fluency in strategic storytelling across mediums—decks, scripts, microsites, campaigns—and the ability to adapt tone for different stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience partnering directly with executives, designers, and PMs.
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments—comfortable navigating ambiguity, pivoting quickly, and distilling evolving ideas into clear, confident narratives. You move with urgency and focus, delivering high-quality work under tight timelines without losing strategic clarity.
  • Based in or available to work Pacific Time Zone hours; preference for candidates in Portland, San Francisco, or San Jose.
