New-to-Canada, one of the portfolios in the Segments Marketing team, is hiring a Marketing Manager to help support the growing requirements with end-to-end responsibilities. It's a dynamic line of business with initiatives that require strategic thinking and problem-solving, effective communication and time management, strong attention to detail especially in execution, and ability to translate research and data into actionable insights. Main responsibilities, but not limited to, is the execution of paid and non-paid digital marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive awareness, consideration and acquisition. This individual thrives as a team player and independent contributor and will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.

The Marketing team is responsible for all consumer-facing communications and supports the Business team's initiatives and goals, which ultimately delivers on CLIENT's business objectives. All communications are to be correct, consistent and compliant.

Works collaboratively with business/group and stakeholders to assess communications needs, recommend communications plans & solutions, secure necessary approvals, and create/deliver communication solutions that effectively support and address communications needs. Sources content and feedback, assesses information and translates thoughts into effective communications solutions. Delivers high quality communications solutions that target audiences can easily access, understand and action that are alignment with company standards.

• Execute marketing campaigns and initiatives end-to-end with attention to detail, from assisting in strategy development through launch, optimization, and reporting.
• Support paid digital marketing programs and campaigns end to end, from assisting in development through launch, optimization, and reporting (during and post-program).
• Assist in planning, development and execution of campaigns.
• Review materials to ensure it complies with relevant quality standards, including in-language requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external partners.
• Cultivate and build relationships with business and functional group partners including agency partners, Business, Product, Legal and Compliance, and other groups as, needed.
• Collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization, including senior stakeholders.
• Participate in defining campaign and communication plans designed to positively influence or change behaviour; develops tailored messaging; identifies appropriate distribution channels.
• Creative problem-solving skills and excellent creative sensibilities: well-developed ability to evaluate whether creative meets strategic objectives and brand standards.
• Remain alert to new trends, tools and methods of communication, and makes recommendations on their application, supporting business objectives and performance.
• On-going campaign performance measurement against milestones and recommend and implement adjustments as necessary to meet business objectives.
• Make recommendations and /or assists in solving problems to ensure communication solutions are implemented.
• Focus is primarily on business/group within CLIENT; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
• Actively looks for opportunities for continuous improvement of communications processes and procedures and participates/leads communications continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
• Works independently on a range of complex campaigns and tasks, which may include unique situations.
• Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
• May act as lead role in coded/confidential projects.
• Reviews progress to plans and escalates complaints, issues and concerns.

Qualifications:
Must Have

• Have at least 3-5 years of professional working experience in strategy and campaign management with a marketing lead role on the brand side or agency side
• Experience working with or managing advertising agencies, including paid media and advertising
• Work well under pressure with strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders while ensuring strong attention to detail
• Strong ability to apply research/data/learnings into strategic plans to deliver on business goals (and not just providing data), as well as ability to take technical and complex information and distill it to key messages that make sense for the audience
• Collaborative team player who is pro-active and driven, and can also work independently
• Proven ability to manage relationships and influence stakeholders across an organization
• Integrated marketing planning and execution expertise
• Strong English verbal & written communication skills
• Native or Business proficiency in reading/writing/speaking Chinese - traditional and simplified

Nice to Have
• Worked on New-to-Canada business or is a newcomer to Canada
