Marketing Project Manager

Assist in marketing/launching products/go to market strategies. Help bring new & innovative ideas to the table for Marketing strategies. Analyze research and derive actionable insights.

Project Manager, Commercial Product Marketing
The Project Manager supports the conception, execution strategy, cadence, delivery, and maintenance of various low slope products/projects as developed through the Commercial Product Marketing team. Projects may be derived from various Product Managers or from a multi-product perspective and will be tangible in nature, with possibly some digital projects as well. Using an agile approach, the Project Manager will harbor full responsibility for all aspects of a project including executing the project within scope, schedule, and budget. The successful candidate will utilize a hands-on approach to create and execute project work plans. Adaptable, the Project Manager will be able to confidently react to roadblocks, changes, and/or priority shifts.

The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating communication, proactively conducting project status meetings, producing project status reports, facilitating project sponsor meetings, communication plans, etc. Leadership and strong interpersonal skills are required to work collaboratively across various business functions and may be responsible for performing high-level business analysis and requirements gathering for various projects. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to; Support Product Manager projects – 70%
Strategize with individual Product Managers to determine product need gaps and identify potential projects
Identify required resources, assess timeline, and develop road maps towards completion and launch of a new product for the commercial roofing space
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
Identifies and addresses issues and risks on a project
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Identifies and manages project dependencies
Facilitates workflows between departments (R&D, Purchasing, Creative, etc) while holding stakeholders accountable for their responsibilities to deliver a quality and on-time product solution in the commercial low slope roofing market.
Adherence to project management methodology and standards; including Agile project management techniques and concept
Contributing to key business and technical decisions on a project Launch Digital Technologies – 10%
Conceive, plan for, and deliver various technologies (product selector, 360/VR videos, applications, etc.)
Work with Digital Team to assist in the development and execution of digital ads, email correspondence, etc.
Identify customer problems and suggest various digital solutions]Develop business cases to launch new digital technologies and prepare presentations towards eventual approval Produce Financial Reports, Spreadsheets, and Presentations -5%
Utilize TM1 to report-out Commercial Marketing financials
Work with product managers to fill-out competitive or informational spreadsheets
Support the creation or revision of various PowerPoint/Google presentations whether intended for an external or internal audience
Analyze new product revenue/operating income compared to legacy product lines Ad Hoc Work, as Needed – 15%
Monitor and anticipate needs from various team members
Envelop a team player mentality to complete important project tasks
Work outside of typical responsibilities to ensure Commercial Marketing output is consistent and successful Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technical, or a similar field is required.
5+ years experience managing tangible product/projects/programs is required, preferably in the building products/manufacturing space
Must have advanced knowledge of Workfront, G Suite, and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred:
TM1 experience and roofing industry background
Trained in working in Agile environments.
MBA preferred
