Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate: $54.37/Hour
 
Role Summary
  • Coordinates all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to closure. This will involve implementation of enterprise software systems, or system integration or consulting projects/engagements. Will interface with client’s program manager and internal leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Project is typically focused on the delivery of automation of a manual process to drive customer satisfaction using technology. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests. Oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Clearly understand and document requirements and integration points. Taking over the current manual process as listed here in order to automate it quickly.
  • Program Manager to help execute on this, coordinating with internal DX and DMe Teams and Microsoft Teams
  • Support project estimation process with key contributors to help define scope and prepare statements of work, including tasks, deliverables, landmarks, resources, and estimated costs
  • BRD creation for Automation and Add-ons dev (for all 12+ Solution groups that MSFT owns), and including Unified Metric calculations for Microsoft and LinkedIn tabs
  • Handle all day-to-day administrative activities of a given project like Microsoft, from inception to closure such as reviewing timesheets, analyze plan versus actual figures
  • Maintain regular communication with both the customer and internal teams, anticipate and mitigate customer objections and questions, quickly and thoroughly manage customer expectations, secure customer reviews and approvals
  • Regular cadence with MSFT PM and conduct discovery sessions
  • Achieve customer satisfaction through successful deployments of new solutions
  • Compile customer requests and deployment issues, to provide a feedback channel into our core products.
  • Work with third-party subcontractors and technology partners as required
  • Act as the central point of contact throughout the life of the project, assemble and communicate experiences in formal post-mortem, and documentation of lessons learned, standard methodologies, and resources needed for future consulting practice
  • Handle weekly resource planning and financial forecast updates
 
Required Skills:
  • You will have a working experience in a professional services/consulting environment of an enterprise software company or consultancy
  • Knowledge of online or offline DX products is an asset, though not required. You will be comfortable responding to the varying demands of working for a dynamic, international company
  • You are a self-motivated individual, with well-developed interpersonal & communication skills and a strong desire to succeed
  • Able to empower other project team members, even under high pressure
  • Proven successful project management experience, preferably delivering large enterprise-based applications and solutions with overall 12-15 years of proven experience.
  • Exposure in implementing the Adobe Experience/Marketing Cloud suite (AEM, Campaign, Analytics etc) is must
  • Solid understanding of custom software development processes and one of the following: Web Content management solutions and processes, Online Analytics solutions, Campaign solutions is must

  • Exceptional team building and team leadership skills, with validated experience managing virtual (including near- and off-shore) teams in an international environment
  • Proven technical ability to understand the impact of technical changes, and to articulate high-level technical solutions to address business problems
  • Background in development with hands-on programming experience (advantageous) with technologies such as Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JCR, Apache Sling/Felix/OSGi
  • Agile/SCRUM and/or PMI Certification and demonstrated rigor in project management standard methodologies would be an advantage
  • Prior experience in traditional business consulting would be an asset
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferably in Computer Science or similar field
