We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering high-quality mobile apps and integrated automotive software solutions.
Our testing needs require the ideal candidate to enjoy on-road/in-vehicle testing using our product both for feature validation and performing the role of a Delivery Associate doing real-world package deliveries using our electric delivery test vans.
The ideal candidate has experience validating Android Mobile and Automotive software both in test environments (Lab) as well in vehicle testing (On Road Testing).
We expect the candidate to perform Manual test case regression (70% of the time) from our Santa Cruz, CA office on test benches and perform Release regression and feature testing (30% of the time) from our fleet of test vans in Bay area delivering packages to actual customers.
Testers are expected to execute test cases, log detailed bugs, and work with QA and Dev teams to validate and repro Production issues.
The candidate will work both autonomously doing on-road testing and with other QA team members.
Testers are expected to understand “Grey Box” testing and have knowledge of multi-tier technical architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience leading testing projects and working with groups such as Product Management, User Experience Design, and Development to understand customer usage models and technical implementation, all while developing test plans and test suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests.
