Job Description
  • Develop mechanisms, processes, tools, and operating procedures for a wide variety of reliability tests, including HALT/ ALT/ HASS, shock, and electrical testing.
  • Led the team in performing reliability testing, advanced hardware assembly/rework (e.g. complex prototype assembly, device teardowns, process rework, etc.), system testing (e.g. failure analysis, power consumption, subsystem testing, device performance, etc.)
  • Must be able to program manage a reliability initiative independently
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of test campaigns by managing the schedule and tracking the test system readiness.
  • Lead failure investigations (CAPA/FRACAS) across multiple stakeholders. Drive to root cause identification, preventative, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects where collaboration is critical for the success of the project.
  • Able to independently define scope, milestones, and business impact, and engage cross-functional teams for collaboration.
  • Must be able to program manage a reliability initiative independently.
  • Identify ways to unblock themselves, find alternative paths when faced with blockers, provide solutions, and deliver results.
  • Communicate concisely verbally and in writing to leadership.

Required
  • MS in Engineering, Reliability, Statistics, Physics or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience with the full range of environmental stress testing, fatigue testing, vibration and shock testing, electrical stress testing, and ESD testing.
  • Experience with failure analysis techniques: Electrical debug, cross-sectioning, dye and pry, and microscopy.
